
Ingredients:
5 cloves garlic (about 3tbsp)
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Method:
Steam the asparagus lightly, just to par cook. Melt the butter and heat with the oil in a pan.
Add the garlic and cook on low heat for about 6 minutes until fragrant. Add some salt, pepper, and the asparagus and cook on medium heat until the asparagus is soft.
OR
Melt the butter and combine with the oil and garlic in a bowl.
Coat the asparagus in the garlic mixture and set aside. This can be done hours ahead of time.
Heat a grill grate over your campfire. Using tongs, carefully set the asparagus on the grill. Cook until lightly charred and soft.
