If you love lemon pepper but think the premade spice can be too strong, then you’ve found the right recipe! This has the perfect balance of fresh lemon and cracked black pepper.
Lemon Pepper Marinade
Yield: 1 cup
⅔ c lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1 ½ tbl fresh cracked black pepper
⅓ c olive oil (not extra virgin)
Combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Lemon Pepper Chicken
Lemon pepper marinade
Marinate your chicken breasts for at least 4 hours. Do not wipe off excess marinade–you want the pepper to be sticking to the chicken.
Grill until done on a hot grill, either over your campfire or on a regular grill. Enjoy!
