Easy Aglio With Canned Clams
This recipe tastes like you just spent 18$ on a pasta dish at a fancy restaurant–you will definitely want to make it again!
Ingredients:
1 box pasta of your choice
1 can of clams, drained
¼ cup chopped garlic
Half a stick of butter
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup white wine
¼ cup fresh chopped parsley
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Method:
Cook pasta according to directions.
While pasta is cooking, heat your pan up and melt the butter along with the olive oil. Keep the heat on medium. Add the garlic and stir, cooking for a couple minutes until fragrant. Add the red pepper flakes and turn the heat up. Cook for another minute then add the white wine. Allow this to simmer for a couple of minutes then add the clams and parsley. Toss in your pasta and serve with some shaved parmesan!
Pizza Pasta Casserole
This recipe combines two of our favorite foods: pasta and pizza! The ingredients can really vary on what you like on your pizza, so feel free to change or add any of the ingredients! We just went with the basics.
Ingredients:
1 box of a pasta of your choice (we recommend a penne or ziti–something smaller like that)
1 jar of sauce (your favorite marinara will work, or whatever is in the pantry!)
2 cups shredded mozzarella
⅓ cup pepperoni slices cut in half
⅓ cup banana peppers, roughly chopped
½ cup sauteed mushrooms
Method:
Cook the pasta according to the box directions. Combine pasta, sauce, pepperoni, banana peppers, mushrooms, and 1 cup of the cheese in a large baking dish. Lightly cover with foil and bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Uncover and top with remaining cheese and bake for another 15 minutes or until cheese is melty and golden.
This dish is great because you can make it the night before. Just remember that cooking time will be close to double!
